The International Day of Yoga 2015 will be celebtarted in Vilnius, the Capital, and also Kaunas, Klaipėda, Šiauliai, Panevėžys, Varėna, Tauragė, Marijampolė, Pasvalys, Utena, Biržai, Visaginas and Nida.
The main accent of the celebration is the joint and simultaneous Tree asana reached in all towns. The number of participants will be counted and nominated to support the yoga movement in Lithuania and preservation of nature in the world.
* 11.30 all participants are getting ready and train themselves to reach the Tree asana. Tree asana or pose, will be done balancing on one foot with foot brought to the thigh, or calf muscle or the ankle of one’s standing leg with palms pressed together in prayer position at the chest. For a greater challenge arms may be put overhead, eyes closed.
All are invited: families, children, seniors. Those willing to support yoga in Lithuania and participate in this record endeavour come together at the stage on the green lawn next to the White bridge on the bank of the Neris River. It is easy. Time to practice. All can participate. No special clothes all equipment needed.
** SUPPORT YOGA IN LITHUANIA BY ESTABLISHING A RECORD
– asana/pose TREE. At 12.00 sharp all will concentrate and simualtaneously with the rest participants in 12 Lithuanian cities will reach the TREE pose and will keep it for 15 seconds. For more information click Here
